Linda has more than 30 years of experience working with employee benefits and specifically Form 5500 filings. We serve as an employee benefits compliance resource for clients in a variety of industries that range in size from Fortune 500 companies to small and medium companies.
She is a member of:
• Illinois CPA Society; and
• American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).
She serves on the ASPPA Reporting and Disclosure Committee.
She has been the co-Author of the annual Wolters Kluwer “5500 Preparer’s Manual” for the 2016 - 2021 editions.
Linda continues to serve as a Form 5500 expert to Benefit Plan professionals, including speaking engagements across the country.
She managed payroll and benefit accounting departments for 5 years followed by 28 years of Form 5500 preparation experience. For 16 years, she managed the timely completion of thousands of filings for hundreds of clients while also leading a team that prepared ERISA benefit plan financial statements and audit reports, required by plan auditors.
Prior to forming Linda T. Fisher 5500 Consulting, LLC, Linda served as the Delivery Group Manager and Subject Matter Expert of Form 5500 reporting requirements across all Hewitt Associates clients.
Linda is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and earned her MBA from Drexel University, Philadelphia.
